I Feel Alive Right Now!!!

2010 began like most years for me. Dick Clark did the countdown, the ball dropped, fireworks went off, and the calendar changed. Truthfully, I’ve never been much into new year’s resolutions because they don’t typically work.

Try (and One or Two Things I NEED From You!)

The year was 1993. The Chicago Bulls had just won their third NBA Championship in a row, the first team to do so in 27 years. For the third consecutive year Michael Jordan was named the most valuable player (MVP) of the NBA Finals. In that Finals series against the Phoenix Suns, Jordan averaged an NBA Finals record 41 points per game, and still grabbed 8.5 rebounds per game and dished out 6.3 assists.

Jordan Camp Canceled? (A true Roadblock STUNNER that I WILL CRUSH)

While my natural feeling may be to hang my head, put my hands over my face and sulk, my FAITH tells me that there is a plan for my life. A plan that includes this journey.

While it may seem foolish to some, having my dream, something I’ve been anticipating for such a long time, potentially swiped away just days before it is a reality, is extremely painful to me.

Get Out and Move! (Appreciate Your Health)

Get Out and Move!

It’s sad that it seems to always take an injury for me to fully appreciate the part of me that is injured.

I suppose most people go through life the same way. We run, jump, run faster and jump higher and think nothing of it until a sickness or injury halts our movement. Then we WISH we could just run and jump, even a little.

It was a little after 5am on Friday morning of last week. The sun had yet to welcome in the new day, but I felt like a small child on Christmas and I had done all the sleeping I could do.

How I Got A Game of 1-on-1 against Robert Brown (ESPN’s 25th Ranked Shooting Guard in the Country!)

ESPN has Robert ranked #84 overall in its top 100 players in the country going into this season. They have him ranked as the 25th best player at his position, shooting guard.
